The members of Ambush are "living the dream."

Countless young people pick up an instrument and fantasize about what it would be like to play in front of a crowd every night - as a full-time professional musician - but just a select few get to find out what it's really like.

For a number of years now, Mark McDonell, Riq Turner and Jim Wright have been doing exactly that, and have built up a loyal following of fans they call the "Ambush Army."

A busy few weeks!

The last Road Report was just before our show at the Russell Fair, a show where we opened up for Tom Cochrane! What an awesome night. We hadn't seen Tom in a while, and he put on an amazing show, and it was great to see Red Rider back together.

A New Arrival!!

Well, it's been a very busy stretch for us over the past few weeks, with 13 shows in 16 days, but by far the most exciting news is the arrival (finally!) of Zane Turner! Zane arrived on Thursday August 21st, and weighed in at a whopping 11 lbs 13 oz! Everyone is doing well, and Ambush "the next generation" is now well under way.

A little luckier with the weather!

We've played a few more great outdoor show over the past two weeks, and got lucky with the weather!

We started off a couple of Thursday ago with a fun show at the Confederation Basin in Kingston, and enjoyed a wonderful evening. We love this show, as we get to meet fans of all ages, and we had a great crowd!
